For a donation of $200 US, or 740 NIS, you and your community can sponsor an oneg after Rosh Hodesh services at the Kotel!

What is an oneg?

The word oneg means enjoyment or delight. Traditionally the term has been associated with Shabbat gatherings which express the happiness of Shabbat. This is based on the prophet Isaiah’s statement (Isaiah 58:13): Call the Shabbat a delight. We apply the term to our Rosh Hodesh celebrations. After praying and reading Torah, we linger for some refreshments and a d’var Torah all of which contributes to an extension of our enjoyment of Rosh Hodesh.

How can I sponsor?

Our monthly Rosh Hodesh services are something each one of us looks forward to. We welcome everyone to participate in our services and support our cause. You can sponsor an oneg for $200, or 740 NIS, and add to the joy of this unique event.
